What happens when a young, handsome executive falls in love with a "plus-sized" woman?  Will their relationship be able to endure the societal pressures that surround them?  Will they be able to overcome their own fears and limitations in the name of true love? 

BETC is proud to present this Regional Premiere by one of America's foremost playwrights, Neil Labute (Shape of Things, This is How it Goes). In his usual multi-faceted style, Labute uses this sharply drawn play not only to critique our slavish adherence to Hollywood ideals of beauty, but also to boldly question our ability to change what we dislike within ourselves.  Sometimes offensive, often hilarious, and ultimately touching, Fat Pig promises to be one of the most exciting theatrical events of the season.
